ABOUT ENSLINS Paarl

Runé Petzer, CA (SA)

Runé obtained her Baccalaureus of Accounting at the University of Free State in 2008 and received her Accounting Honors in 2010. In 2011, she passed her SAICA board exam, and in 2012, her IRBA Auditing exam. Furthermore, she did a postgraduate diploma in advanced taxation in 2014 at the University of Pretoria. In 2015, she obtained her SAICA certificate for IFRS. Runé is a registered tax practitioner with SARS since 2016. Runé Petzer established Enslins Paarl Inc. in 2016 and then expanded to East London in 2022.

DERIUS ERASMUS, CA (SA)

Derius Erasmus joined Enslins Paarl as Director in 2026, bringing his own accounting practice into the fold. He obtained his Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) from the University of the Free State, followed by an MBA from the USB Stellenbosch Business School. Derius completed his articles in Stellenbosch before gaining international experience abroad, and went on to hold senior financial management roles over a 10-year period before starting his own practice. Derius is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and a registered tax practitioner with SARS. He lives in Paarl with his wife and two children.

STAFF COMPLIMENT

Rune leads the team as Director. The team consists of six employees, including four accountants, one of whom is a Chartered Accountant and the Director, along with one Human Resource and Marketing Assistant and one Office Assistant.
